Why a felt edge?
Credit cards and hard plastic squeegees can scuff gelcoat and gouge fresh vinyl. The soft felt face glides pressure across the decal, pushing water and air out to the edges — the difference between a factory look and bubbles. Works with the wet method (soapy slide) and dry (direct lay).
Three steps to a bubble-free install

Position
Tape the decal lightly, confirm placement and level. Peel a corner of the backing.

Squeegee center-out
Work from the middle outward with firm, overlapping strokes. The felt edge does the rest.
3
Peel & finish
Pull the transfer tape slowly at a sharp angle. Go over the whole decal once more.
